Yes, you are right, that's what customer support said. Weird because I can still turn the bands on and off even when smart connect is on. I just can't select the channel. Thanks for replying!

I've tried that, but it just resets to auto when I turn the smart connect back on. I can tell because when I option click the wifi symbol on my mac the wifi is no longer on the channel I chose.

Model : Hardware Version : Firmware Version : ISP : C3200 running unified with guest network. I can see in status that the radio bands are set to auto, but the 2.4ghz ones are set to a busy channel....
