with mine I had to go to the firmware page on TP-Link's website to download it. It wasn't showing in my router firmware update webpage

@TheRealRoland this is a shot in the dark, but have you tried disabling the EasyMesh setting? In the web interface, it is advanced, EasyMesh. By disabling this, it solved most of my wireless issues.
