@BradLouKy TY, It was indeed connecting to the main mesh network. Now it has its own guest channel.

@jzchen Thanks for replying so quickly! You were correct. So I set up a guest channel, and the signal is (currently) strong. I'm also still inside. Not dragging it all up a ladder till it all works....
