My entry hall has 3 switches. I want it controlled with hs210. Can this work?

The HS210 is designed for a 3-way enviroment. This means If you have 2 switches that control the same lights then the HS210 would be what you want. If each switch controls different lights then you would actually be looking at the HS200 or the HS220 if any of them are dimmers. If you are looking at the HS200 or HS220 you will need to make sure there are 3 wires a live, a neutral and a load. The ground is not needed but is recommended if available.

Thank you for the update. A envrioment where a light is controled by 3 or more switches is called a 4-way. Our product enigneering team has not tested the HS210 in this type of enviroment so i cannot say if it would work or not. One thing you can try is since you only acutally need to use one of the HS210 in a single 3-way enviorment, so you don't have to buy additional units until your sure you could use one of your existing HS210s and try it. Although I would recommend a liscensed electirian to assist as they will know these 4-way enivorments much better than our product support.

damc,
This can be done. I have a similar setup in my hallway. You likely currently have 2x 3-way "dumb" switches and 1x 4-way "dumb" switch. I replaced the 2x 3-way switches with HS210s and left the 4-way switch in place. You'll know which one is the 4 way switch, as it will have 4 wires going to it (2 lines and 2 traveller wires), not counting any ground wire. This makes the hole circuit "smart" and controllable via app and cloud. All 3 switches, smart and dumb will physically control the lights as well. Look up 4 way switch diagram and you'll see why this will work with this configuration of smart 3-way switches.
Hope that works for you.
