I have an HS200 in my bedroom. The circle white LED on the switch when the light is off is very bright in the middle of the night. Is there a way to disable or dim this?

Hi Casey,  at this time no The light should not be very bright but it may be noticable.  The intent of the light is to tell customers when their switch is off compared to when it is on.  We have had a few customers ask about turning this light off.  We will send the request to the design team for you though.

I understand and can even appreciate the intent of the light. It's very useful on the switches in my hallway at night. In my bedroom at night, though, when it's the only source of light in an otherwise dark room, it's much too bright. A feature just like what's available with your mesh WiFi would be amazing - the ability to disable the LED during a certain time frame: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1463/, but I'd even just accept the ability to completely disable it for now. As it is, I'm afraid I'm going to have to remove it from my bedroom. Anything you could do to help get this pushed up higher in the queue would be much appreciated. Thanks so much for your help, Carl.

Thanks. I'd love to be able to have it in my bedroom again (along with one for my ceiling fan, lamp switch, and closet light). But if one switch was too bright, four would probably be blinding.

I'll second this request.  I'd love a way to disable the light completely at least when the switch is off.

I also am being forced to remove the switch from bedroom because its too bright :(

I woke up this morning (in dark) and could not see the switch and thought "great, it auto dims at night" but when I came back after sun came up I see Wife put sticker over light switch :(

I also like this feature request. Might have to uninstall the switch if I can't dim or disable this light. Has there been any word from the design team on adding this as a feature? Things bright enough to cast a shadow.

@Carl Is this on a road map yet? I have seen many posts that this has been pushed to devs. The earliest post I found goes back to july 2019.
