I am having a problem connecting to my Mikrotik AP on the 5G ax with this adapter. It connects to the 2G ax without problems but cuts the speed way down. I have Mikrotik AP's all over and they support 2 and 5G ax
Here is my OS:
Here is my AP. It is a Mikrotik "cAP ax" -> https(colon)//mikrotik(dot)com/product/cap_ax
Here are my AP's settings: As you can see it supports 5G AX. Wif
It connects on the 2G ax network without issue. I disable the 2G ax interface (wifi2) and it never connects to the shared ssid. My google phone works perfectly and if I connect to an eero AP it also works.
The very 1st time I connected the Adapter I got the installer to show up and I ran it but it never connected or got a blue light on the adapter, I then went ahead and installed the drivers manually and here is what they show now:

Hey @jroy777,
I would recommend first taking a look at these two FAQs to see if you may be able to find a solution. For the most part, this device is plug-and-play so it shouldn’t need advanced troubleshooting, especially if it is able to connect to another brand AP or network.
What to do if Archer TX20U Plus plug and play doesn’t work?(Driver Install Check)
What to do if Archer TX20U Plus is unstable (Device Property)
Device Manager > Network Adapters > Right Click Adapter > Properties > Advanced > USB Switch Mode > USB Mode 2
If the laptop or PC was previously connected to the network, you may consider forgetting the network entirely.
I would also recommend checking your wireless network settings to see if setting a smaller channel width for the network allows the connection to take place.
Otherwise, from what you are describing, there may be some sort of incompatibility between the settings for your Wi-Fi and the adapter.
