Model: HS200
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version:

I am installing an HS 200 switch in a weatherproof box outside to control my led pool light remotely

Can it be installed in a metaillic box or will that interfere with the wifi operation

Thank You

A metallic box could hamper the WiFi connection. That being said I have a couple switches in metallic boxes that work fine, but they in a location with a strong WiFi signal.

Assuming the metallic switch/receptacle box is already in place I would definitely use a non-metallic cover for it and see how that works before swapping out the whole box.
