At some point after 6:07am US Central Time Tuesday, my Smart Actions have all stopped working. I have multiple Auto Off and single-to-multi switch controls setup and none work now. I created new Smart Actions and they don't work either.

Thank you for the feedback with the new Kasa APP 3.0

Please confirm your Kasa app is up-to-date in the Google Play or APP store,  for now it is 3.0.3 version. 

 

Please check the marked solution of Kasa APP 3.0 APP as there are fixes has been released with the Smart Action.

 @Solla-topee  Yes, I have had 3.0.3 since it was released. App says v3.0.3 Build 1098, which is the latest from the Google Play Store.

 

I've even deleted all Smart Actions, created one new action and tested. It does not work at all. They worked for several days on the new v3.0.3 then just stopped.

 

To be clear, the History page in Smart tab shows no actions being taken after 6:07am 10/11. So, neither the old nor new actions I've created appear to be even attempting to trigger.

At the same time, can you share a photo of the new Smart action settings as well ? Please share an example if possible, like Trigger : Action: 

The MAC address of the smart devices in that entry via PM.

May I know the model of your Android device and its OS

I notice that the smart action is not working when I turn on the device with a scene, I believe it  is a important information. . If I turn on the device on the Home screen the smart scene works works.

 

I deleted the scenes, created new ones, uninstalled the app, installed again and it didn't fix.

 

I'm controlling a HS103 and a KP405.

 

I saw that on the scene there is the option "DURATION". If I set a time for the duration of the scene it works, in my case it can replace the smart scene because I just want it turned off. 

 

Anyway there is a bug on smart actions, not sure since what update it started.

 

Adding: Running on IOS 16.1
