I know that this has been a request for a while now, and it looks like our teams have taken the feedback and are working on creating similar products. While we do not yet have a plan for the Kasa brand, we did see a smart button announced for our Tapo brand that uses low frequency sub-ghz to communicate and save power.
We may see more from the Kasa brand soon, as these will be the first adventure into automation-focused devices.
