Is it possible to broadcast an outdoor webcam on the internet? I would like to make my webcam viewable to mariners so they can see the harbor conditions
Unfortunately, our Kasa cameras can only be used with verified and compatible platforms - primarily the Kasa app and Voice Assistants. If you were to set something like this up, you would want to look for a device that supports RTSP or ONVIF (can be seen in non-battery powered cameras from Tapo). These are standards used for IP cameras that allow you to view the camera over your network - allowing NVRs or other devices to stream the video feed to wherever you need outside your network.
