Motion detection notification stopped working. Removed device and now it will not allow me to add device. It says' 'firmware coming soon'

Hmm. I would recommend factory resetting the camera again. After resetting, the camera should check for any available firmware updates. Also, make sure that your app is up to date as there has been a recent update.
Otherwise, what camera model do you have? What firmware is the camera running? And Finally, what are your current app version and operating system?
