I know there is a KS240, Smart switch for ceiling fan with light dimmer, but this will not work for what I have.

I have a 3 speed ceiling fan that can oscillate. The wall switch has a button that can be put into the off position or speed 1,2 or 3. It also has a second switch that the red wire connects to. That can be on or off and it turns the oscillating on or off.

So I need a smart switch for a ceiling fan with 3 speeds and a light (no dimmer). I would use the light's wire for the oscillating.

Does Kasa have any such switch?

thanks

@spacemancw because nobody has that need. I wonder if yours will work if you just keep the dimmer at 100%. But I'm not sure a dimmer is supposed to be on a motor.

@FanMan So people have a need for a 4 speed smart ceiling fan switch with light dimmer, but no need for a three (or four) speed smart ceiling fan switch with light switch that's not dimable ?

The only difference is one is dimabale, one is not.  I agree, the motor for the oscilation should not be on a dimmer ... but I may work at 100% Any chance the dim function can be disabled in the app ?

@spacemancw you can disable using the calibration. But I'm not certain max calibrated is 100% or if your motor will like it.
