I am planning to upgrade my home network system with a new router, but will reinstall the same SSID on the router as well as the existing password. 

Will all the devices in the house be able to connect to the new router without a complete new setup (I have 40+ devices). 

 

What is the process to change the Wifi in this case?

In most cases, that should work.  However, we cannot say with 100% certainty.  In some cases, usually with older network devices they may also bind to the old network MAC address, in which case a reset may be requeired.  In most cases though, as long as the Username and Password are the same the network devices should connect back to the new router with little issue.
