2 step Verification
Has anyone else had trouble with 2 step verification sending email that takes too long to receive and the app verification screen times out? I understand I can turn off two step verification once I get the app open using the 2 step verification. it is pointless if the app times out. Any suggestions since support cannot help?

I think improvements to these systems are being worked on, but this is often caused by your email provider processing the email. If you are using an email forward or combined inbox, going to the source inbox may allow you to see the email within the time.
We do recommend using your email as a backup authentication method and using another device or Tapo App as the primary method of generating login codes. I would simply wait a short while and try configuring the code again to see if it was simply a slow server. How long does it tend to take for the email to arrive to your inbox?

The time it takes for the emails for the backup method to arrive seem to vary and is being worked on in multiple ways by our development teams. Honestly, I would recommend setting up 2FA and getting the codes through the Tapo App, as they come instantaneously and I havent had a problem so far.
