Hi all,

so i have several HS200 installed in my house. the hardware version is 1.0, 2.0. 5.0 and 5.26. And I just replaced my router as Tplink BE85. So all device works perfectly fine with Kasa smart app, as well as amazon alexa app. Family is happy about all the feature. As some of you all might know, under the deco app, there are section for smart devices. So i tried to feature, and be able to add all HS200 to the deco app EXCEPT those under 5.26 hardware version. I tried to reset those switches and attempted to install in the deco app, but it even fails to discover within the deco app. now those switch are only working under kasa smart app and amazon which frustrates me a lot. 

I tried to contact support, but i got different version answer. it first told me deco app isnt support HS200, but i do be able to add some HS200 into my deco app. then they now tell me 5.26 hardware version is using KLAP protocol, which is totally different from the previous hardware version, which caused 5.26 version wont be able to discover in deco app. and it cant be solve by a firmware update. and the only way to solve the problem is start an RMA process, and they will send me 5.0 hardware version in order to work with deco app. And apparently all HS200P3 sold on amazon is all  ver5.26, so is that means HS200 will not compatible with deco app any more?

I like the smart home device feature under the deco app, but it sound annoying when i have to go back and forth to different app to control different switches, even it is all made from the same company. 

i really dont prefer taking off all the installed 5.26 switch, and reinstall again in order to work in deco app. please advice.
