I have a 3rd party driveway sensor that detects cars coming down my driveway.  I wish to turn on outside lights when the device detects a car.  The device has N/C (Normally closed) and N/O (Normally open) options that are triggered when it detects a car.  Thus, is it possible to interface a Tapo switch with the driveway sensor using N/O or N/C??

Generally Tapo products can only communicate within the Tapo ecosystem.  This can include Kasa Smart devices, if you have linked your Kasa account to the Tapo App.  there are two ways that you may possibly be able to get your intentions to work is through automations within a Home Assistant like Alexa or Google Assistant.  That would require both devices to be linked to that assistant.  That or through a Matter Controller, but that would require both devices to support Matter and be connected to the same controller.
