Hi,

 

My internet provider is Comcast. I have the Comcast router in bridge mode connected to the BE550. The BE550 provides Wi-Fi and is also connected to an RE715X to extend the Wi-Fi range. With this setup, sharing my Teams screen results in a black square of my share to other users. Using the Comcast router directly, the screenshare works as expected.

 

Any advice on specific configurations on the TP-Link or bridge mode to check? I can view the screenshares from others so I am a little stumped.

Have not had the issue but seen others say this works. Google 'teams black screen' for more info.

 

suspect teams wants to stay connected to the Comcast box and this breaks the connection. 

 

A solution that works and does not require computer restart:
1. Hit `Win+R` to open a console prompt.
2. Kill all processes that have teams in their name with this command:

taskkill /IM "teams*" /F

3. Launch Teams.
