Noticed that alexa will not connect or control specifically my H300 smart power strip. Kasa app still has full control of the H300.
I reset my router.
Updated the firmware in the H300.
Removed and reconnected the H300 from the kasa app.
Alexa no longer has a Kasa Skill.
Is kasa being progressively removed from Alexa control?
I am still able to see the TP-Link Kasa Integration in my Alexa App. Make sure that the skill you are searching for is "TP-LINK Kasa," not just Kasa.
It is possible that the cloud connection between Alexa and TP-Link needs to be refreshed. If you go to the bottom of the Alexa "Skills & Games" section, there is an option to see all of the current skills enabled. If the Kasa skill is shown there, you may consider unlinking and relinking the accounts.
Lastly, in the settings menu of the Tapo app, you can find an option for "third-party services", where you should be able to start the process to link your Kasa and Amazon Alexa accounts.
