Model: Tapo D225
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.19

Purchased two D225 in June. During the free trial of TapoCare, the video was clear and not choppy. We upgraded to the TapoCare, and now the video has been consistently choppy, unclear, and misses important clips.

Both cameras are hardwired to power and are set to the correct powerline frequency. I have tried both video resolutions to see if that makes a difference, and it does not. I do not have the D225's recording to an SD card, because I am using the 'Always On' function. Both Cameras have up-to-date firmware, and the Tapo app is up to date as well.

Has anyone else had similar issues? Anyone have a fix?

Try to download the video and play it locally within the Tapo app, and through your phone's gallery (or other video player apps), check whether the same thing occurs.

Test whether it is the same when using another phone.

@Wayne-TP It occurs when the recording is downloaded - both in the app and in the phone's gallery. Tested with both an Android and an IPhone, both had up-to-date software.
