My parents wi-fi extender is caught in a continuous reboot cycle. They have no knowledge of how it was set up. I downloaded tear her & cannot connect to it. Doesn't show up in app. Tried plugging into computer and connect directly to it & that doesn't work either.
I saw suggestion to plug into computer because of software update but it's been doing the same thing for hours.
please help

If you haven't already, please try moving the extender to another outlet. If the behavior persists, try resetting the extender to factory defaults by using a small object (like a paper clip) to press and hold the reset button on the extender for at least 10 seconds (or as long as 30 if the reboot loop doesn't stop) to make sure it has been restored to its default configuration.
If the reset is successful, you should then be able to use the Tether app to detect and set up the extender.
