Tapo "smart" cameras, not so smart
I was shocked to learn that Tapo cameras have zero ability to do Sound Detection other than a baby crying.
Not having an infant of my own, crying babies was never a feature I would ever use.
If the camera can obviously detect sounds such as a crying baby, why can it not detect:
A smoke alarm?
A carbon monoxide detector going off?
Glass breaking?
Screaming?
Other loud / unusual noises?
Every other camera vendor has these features, yet Tapo is way behind.
Is this even being considered by Tapo to introduce in the future?

Hi,
On a Tapo camera's Specification page on our official website, you can find the detection types it supports. We have some Tapo cameras that only support BabyCry sound detection, but we also have other models that support more sound detection types. For example, the Tapo C225 supports BabyCry, Meow, Bark, and Glass-Breaking sound detection types.
For the camera model you're interested in, we recommend visiting its Specifications page on our official website to learn about its supported detection types.
For other sound detection types, we welcome you to provide specific usage scenarios, which we will record and forward to the relevant team for evaluation.
Best Regards
