Please confirm the following information about the reported phenomenon.
1. What's the firmware and hardware version of your Tapo C425?
2. On the camera's Device Settings > Video & Display > Night Mode Settings page, please ensure the Color Mode is selected.
3. If the camera has detected an event but the spotlight does not turn on, please send us a corresponding video clip that shows the phenomenon for further analysis. You can download the video from the camera's Playback & Download > Playback page to your phone. Then, upload the video to your cloud server (such as Google Drive) or YouTube, generate a download link, and send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.
