I hook up my wi-fi 6 router so that both of my computers can pick up the signal,but I can't get my Fire max 11 tablet or my roku tv to connect to the signal even-though they can see the name.I think that maybe I used the ADMIN password as the password that the guest use to log on. Could that be the problem or is it some thing else.Plese help.
Not sure if that is your specific cause, but some devices have limits on the SSID and passwords including lenght and special characters. I would change it to something simple for a test to see if that is the case.
May need to forget/delete the network settings when changing WIFI settings and may need to power cycle the router and devices when making changes. You see this sometimes especially when SSID did not change.
Could also be the Security Level? Not everything can work with WPA3 for instance?
One 'easy' test, enable the GUEST SSID with NO SECURITY and see if it connects? Also, CASE does matter in P/W's, 'admin' is NOT the same as 'ADMIN'.
I can't see how a P/W would matter? Yes, some devices do not allow some characters for a P/W (Deco or Router) possibly, or require a specific length or special characters or numbers, but I've never heard of a device not sending any P/W you created?
Forgetting the OLD network, even if it has the same name, is good to do too, and then reconnecting.
