Tapo C216 Power extension cable
Camera model not in drop down I am refering to the C216 indoor/outdoor Hybrid360 cameras:
I recently purchased two of these cameras with the intent of mounting them outside. Problem is the included power cord is not long enough to reach from outside to a power outlet. Are there extension cables availible for this particular model? I have seen other cables on Amazon but they have a normal USB C connector and the include ones have specific form factor to keep water out. I dont want to purchase a regular cable and fry the cameras the first time it rains.

Hi,
We do not have extension cables available for Tapo cameras, and we can't guarantee that an extension cable will work with the camera.
It's suggested to check if the camera can be installed in a different location that can reach the power outlet with the original power cable.

You can get a very long A to C USB Cable, even one made for Outdoors from Amazon. Or an Extension. I use them on all my Blink Cameras with no issues. The only problem might be the way the Connector fits into the back of the Camera.
Otherwise, it's a simple fix although an unexpected additional expense.
