Please confirm the following information for the reported phenomenon.

  1. Are you storing the video recordings on our cloud server or a local SD card? If the video recordings are stored on a local SD card, please refer to the instructions below to confirm whether your storage settings are correct, especially the Recording Schedule.
     How can I store the Tapo camera video recordings on a microSD card
 

  2. Is your camera set to store detection video clips or continuous video recordings?
  
  3. Is the camera placed outdoors? Please ensure there are no windows, glass, or smooth metal surfaces in front of the camera; these may cause the camera's infrared light to reflect when it works in Night mode, resulting in blurry and unclear images, thereby hindering the detection of moving objects.
