Model: Kasa KP125M
Hardware Version: V16
Firmware Version: 1.6

I just bought a 4-pack of KP125MP4 plugs and I can't get them to connect. I have a number of Kasa devices all connected fine (HS103, KP103, KP115, HS220, HS200, HS300) but a week ago I lost connection to an HS103 that had been working fine for months. I also lose connection intermittently to the HS300.

Now I bought new KP125M 4-Pack and the will not connect to my Netgear router and wifi. Using the Kasa Android app (v3.4.402/build 1337) I try to add the KP125M with it flashing blue/green. It seems to find the unit and prompts me to select my 2.4GHz IoT network (Netgear). I enter the password and hit next. The light on the units stops flashing for about 60-90 seconds and then I get an error box saying "Please double-check your Wi-Fi password". I have not changed my SSID or password in years! I don't know what changed (update to the app???) but I have added many, many Kasa devices (see above) and never had an issue connecting. This is very disappointing.

Any help is most appreciated.

  @Zimbrich

Here is a simple way to verify whether the password is correct. Delete the saved network on your phone, then reconnect it by manually entering the password. If the phone fails to reconnect, it means the password entered is incorrect. How to remove existing wireless network profile on Android&iPhone

Are there any special characters in the SSID or password? You may try to connect the smart plug to a different WiFi, see if that works, like a guest network or a hotspot WiFi.
