Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 2.2.1

I have been having an issue where the WAN link will seemingly just drop out.  Looking at the Tether app, it shows "unplugged".  Sometimes rebooting the router and/or the modem will help.  Other times I need to physically unplug and replug in the cable.  And sometime is just fixes itself.

Anyone else see this issue?  Or have any tips on further troubleshooting?  Not sure if it's an issue with the router or the ISP modem.

Some things to try.

Try using different Ethernet cables.

Check the connections from your ISP. This includes the back of the modem and all connectors including service feed into your house, connections to other devices such as TVs, and such. Be sure they are lightly tightened and are clean. I like to unscrew them, clean, and reconnect them when checking.

check for bent pins in the Ethernet connectors on modem and router. Also move the cables around a bit and see if the network drops.

If using USB devices attached to the router, disconnect them for a test. You may need a power hub for them.

Be sure the firmware is up to date.

Try connecting a PC direct to the modem and see if you get the issue as a test. If it fails, then the router should not be the issue.

If using a UPS, try it without it as I have seen a bad battery in one cause some strange issues.

Let us know what you find.
