Kasa app in landscape mode
Hi, are there any plans to make the iOs/android Kasa app work in landscape mode?

To my knowledge landscape is only used for full view mode for cameras. We do not have current plans to operate the rest of the app in landscape at this time.

@katakolo You can use the third-party app "watt for smart devices" for iOS that supports landscape :)
The app have also other cool features

@katakolo It's a shame as I have a plain old tablet that I wanted to Wall mount\embed as a controller for the lights.
It seems quite a bit backward that the UI cannot be changed in what I would have thought was such a simple way...
Bizarre.

Could you please help us with the landscape mode. This is really old school to be stuck in portrait. I have this nice tablet mounted on the wall for music and cameras and would love to have a decent interface for the lights but sideways sucks.

Hi JF,
I'll add it to our request form. Kasa products were not orginally designed for tablets. In fact orginally you had to install the phone app on the tablet to even get the app on a tablet. Even now the phone app doesn't have landscape, except if you are viewing a full screen of a Kasa Camera feed. If we do get a response I will have it posted in our Official Annoucements section.

The current Kasa Smart iPad app (version 2.34.0) is working for me when in landscape. However, I cannot get to the same controls/buttons that are available when physically viewing the camera in portrait mode. Specifically, the Activity, Schedule, and 24/7 Recording buttons/icons are not available.
The iPhone version has the ability to expand/shrink the view with an appropriate icon -- but no such shrink icon appears when viewing the camera on the iPad when the iPad is physcially in landscape orientation. Instead it's necessary to physically rotate the ipad to portrait to get to this point (and this is a bit of a challenge since I have a keyboard attached which physcially makes the iPad to be in landscape.
Would it be possible to add the window shrink icon to the iPad version like there is on the iPhone?
