24/7 recording time 1 hour off
I have Kasa app configured for US/Central time. All my cameras in Live view reflect the proper Central time. When I go into 24/7 recordings, the recording time is exactly 1 hour off. Shouldnt the recording time reflect the live view time? As an example, I can review a live view at 17:15; however, when i go into 24/7 recording view, the timeline will be one hour earlier (16:15). as well, all the motion timeframes are off by 1 hour. Has anyone else experienced this?

I can confirm my issue is resolved once i updated the kasa app to Version 2.38.1 Build 1040

Hello Dave, 1 hour off usually indicates that its an issue with Daylight savings time. Go into the Kasa app and Tap on the 3 bars in the upper left. Then tap on Settings. From there tap on Location and Time. Confirm your TimeZone is correct and then tap on location and sync your location to update the time setting. Let us know if that helps.

Thanks for the reply,, I've reviewed these settings numerous times and the time zone is currently set to US/Central and location was last synced today at 7:28 AM. Problem still persists
Ive included a scree shot of the kasa App,, Note the phone time is 4:10 PM, The live view of camera is 4:02 PM, however, the timeline slider is 3:02 PM.

I utilize the KC420WS and KC410S cameras. They all behave in this same fashion with the 24/7 recording 1 hour off actual time. Ive included the detail for the camera i included in th eprevious post so you can see hardware/firmware versions

Just got infromation back today that this is a now confirmed bug. It will be resolved on the next update.

From my understanding, it is in the app itself. I wish I could 100% say yes but we usually don't get release dates for app updates. Because of that a notification from me might be delayed. If i see that an update is available when I look at my Kasa account then I will happily let you know.

Having the same issue. Time stamp on video is correct, but 24/7 timeline is 1 hour behind. Tried changing the time zone for others in Central but always the same results. I have 3 different Kasa cam models and all act the same way.

@Ag80 I installed my video doorbell last week and i noticed the same issue where the time stamp on the recording clips is 1 hour off. Sounds like its a known issue that hasnt been fixed yet.
