The latest firmware for HS103 V5 is your current version, 1.0.8. There is no newer firmware so you won't receive any update notices.
As for the resetting issue, can you be more specific about it? How do you tell the plugs are resetting themselves? How does the LED light change? Any click sound?
It will be great if you can share a video of the plug's behavior here.
Here are some suggestions for this issue:
1. Unplug the appliance and Manually factory reset the plug.
How to reset HS103: Press and hold the Power button (for 10 seconds) until the LED flashes amber rapidly to factory reset the Smart Plug Mini.
