Hello!

I have had the Doorbell for about 3 months now and it has functioned in all respects, except one.

The Chime and Camera are working perfectly. The camera and KASA app will send notifications when it detects a person just fine, but not when the button is pressed. The toggle for button pressed notifications is toggled on. I have tried toggling it on and off and on again. I have also tried powering off the camera and then back on again.

So, while the camera will send a notification when it detects a person approaching the door, if will not send a notification if they ring the doorbell. I have also tried pressing the button without being detected but the camera (from inside the house), but it will not send a notification.

Hi,
The new firmware for the KD110 is rolled out today for all KD110, please try to update the firmware and check if it will solve the issue. If you do not see the new firmware, reboot the KD100 for a try.

Hi,
We are releasing new firmware(2.3.20) for the KD110 gradually, please update the firmware to the latest one if the firmware is available for your device, and check if it helps.
How to update firmware of Kasa smart devices?

If don't see the new firmware on the Kasa app, please send me the MAC address of your KD110 via private message, and we can send the firmware to your camera for a try.

Do you have this problem when starting to use the camera?

Oddly enough, not many people actually press the doorbell button, so I haven't paid much attention to if it ever sent a notification or not, but I seem to remember it sending notifications at least once or twice when I first installed it. I don't currently see a firmware update available yet.
