Does TP-Link offer a 3 way dimmer that doesn't have a satellite requirement. I.E. I can/want to put a generic non smart three way switch(no dimmer) on the other end and it should work. Tried the other day to install this kit with a Licensed electrician to no avail. Literally wound up isolating the one end and turning a 3 way switch into a single. So I could have dimming capability. It is a work around but now I have a dead cover on the other end and no ability to manually turn on a light switch in a room that I'd really like to have that capability. I have this need in four Different locations.  

I'm not convinced that the kit actually works based on the forums that I'm reading and the experience I had this week attempting to install. 

I don't know why this is difficult. Smart Switch 3 way dimmer and the opposite end could/should be a regular 3 way.
