@sandyjb83 One thing about the Nest Protects is they need IPV6 enabled to stay connected. My 6 have stayed online over a year after switching it on.

@Mark_Jacobson Suggestion. Go to whatsmyip or another site that gives your IP address when directly connected & then going through the Deco. They should be the same.

@IrvSp Yes, which is what I'm doing now. It is fine if you know of a device having issues. Having the connect alive times makes it easier to spot devices that you are unaware of losing connection.

@Larry-R I'll second that. It is a great way to tell if a device is staying connected or disconnecting/reconnecting. Extremely useful feature.

@bo01ean I would try setting up a SSID with just 5 Ghz. I have several devices that will connect to a SSID with multiple frequencies but won't stay connected. Putting them on either a dedicated 2.4...
