M5 not letting me connect to WhatsApp or Facebook?
Recently up M5 3 mesh system and connection is good but I cannot access WhatsApp and Facebook?!? I'm the owner and adult.

Hi, did all the mobile clients fail to access Facebook and WhatsApp?
If your device is under parental control, would you please temporarily remove this device from the parental control profile or delete the profile to see what happened?
--if deleting the profile worked, could you please leave me a picture of the parental control blocked categories?

I was having a similar problem with WhatsApp
And I did a lot of searching on the net to solve this problem but I didn't find anything
However, I also used some modified applications to fix it
Like this YOWhatsApp
But my problem is not solved but now after visiting this post I think my problem will be solved.

I have the same problem here. Whastapp does not work on mobile or desktop connected to Deco network. It started this morning without me having changed any of the Deco settings. Parental control is disabled. When I bypass Deco, whatsapp works normally.
Deco M5 Firmware version 1.5.3. 20210203 Rel. 68223..

All my mobile devices (IOS & Android) have problems with WhatsApp app - "Connecting" is always shown on the screen.
Did your mobile devices behave the same? or a little different?
If it is quite like your case, any chance you could follow the suggestions on the first link and help me get the required details?

I've tried to do what was on the link and in this post.
still whatsapp doesn't connect and facebook issues as well when connected to the MESH.
can you please list everything I can do to fix it?

Hi, Have you tried the following suggestions:
Did Deco work on the wireless router mode? if yes, please check whether you have enabled any parental control settings for the device.
--if possible, please also change Deco to be access point mode, and help me confirm whether the issue was still here.
--if the access point is not available, could you please unplug the satellite Deco, leave the main only main; then enable guest network for 5ghz only and connect one of your Apple devices to the guest network, then try to access WhatsApp/ Facebook.
By the way, May I know who is your internet service provider and what is the model number of your main router?

@TP-Link i have the same problem and "your solution" has no sense to me.
I all really did everything and sometimes works and some times not, i guess this will ve a problem between your software and the security of whatsapp

Hi, can you send an email to support.forum@tp-link.com(please add forum ID 255894) with the following information:
1. Please try to record a video clip about what happened to WhatsAPP and Facebook APP when the device is connected to Deco's network?
2. Please check whether these APPs are working fine over the 4G network.
3. Did all the mobile devices have the same issue?
