Solution Ethernet Backhaul not working

There are several typical network layouts for Ethernet Backhaul:

If your current network topology is similar to one of them, please refer to the following troubleshooting suggestions:
1. Temporarily the switch and connect the satellite Deco to the main Deco directly. If the Ethernet Backhaul is active immediately, please check whether your network switch supports IEEE 1905.1 protocol or not. Refer to Q4/Q5 in the below FAQ for more detailed explanation:

2. If the switch is confirmed IEEE 1905.1 protocol supported, please leave the model number of the switch here.
3. If you are using the TP-Link switches, login to the web UI of the switch, go to Monitoring > Loop Prevention to Disable the Loop Prevention:

Note: It also works in both wireless router and access point mode
Please refer to the troubleshooting suggestions:
1. Change the Ethernet cable between the Deco nodes.
2. Swap the location of the satellite Deco nodes to confirm that the issue is not caused by a specific Deco.
If the issue persists, comment below with the following information:
--What kind of Ethernet cable do you use, like UTP Cat5e?
--How long is the cable?
In the meantime, the following beta firmware has optimized the Ethernet Backhaul feature on Deco.
Please also install the firmware first and check whether Ethernet Backhaul could be successfully created.

If you have something else wired to that same switch, would you please do the following test for me:
1. Power off all Satellite Deco connected to that switch, including one that reports WiFi backhaul.
2. See if that other wired to the switch device still has Internet access.

@Alexandre. Sorry by the late response.
During this weekend I did some new tests, an, despite the cable seems to be OK in others appliances, I changed the RJ45 connector and the problem was solved.

Its not clear temporarily the switch, do what with it !.

I have connected my Internet to
tplink switch
8-port gigabit
tl-sg1008D
Supports IEEE 8
The main deco works fine and 2 other decos around it.
I have 1 deco on diffrent floor
Picking very weak signal from the main deco
I connnect Ethernet net cable to it
No diffrent

I have 3 Deco S7 (Wi-Fi Mesh Dual-Band AC1900 Deco S7, V 1.20) and I'm trying to backhaul. Reading on some other forums, apparently it would need a switch to work, so I bought the tp link LS1008G V3 switch, and even so, the backhaul doesn't work.
The current setup is :
Modem > Main Deco (which is on the first floor) > Switch >Deco (Slave 1, which is on the second floor)
Disclaimer: I'm using CAT 6
All this via ethernet, I have another deco (Slave 2) which is connected via wifi. Even connecting via cable, the deco refuses to change the type of connection, it shows that it is connected via wireless (even the one connected to the switch). I intend to run a cable from Slave 2 to the switch to do a complete backhaul. I would like to know if at some point there will be a feature to manually change the connection type (from wireless to ethernet) between the decos.
I've also tried direct connection between decks, i.e:
Modem > Main Deco > Slave 1
And even then, the backhaul didn't work, even though it said on one of the support pages that it would work regardless of the deco model (or at least, it didn't say that it would work on a specific deco model).
Update (18/02/2024): I bought the Tp-link Ls1008g Gigabit 10/100/1000 Swtich and set it up as follows:
Router > Main Deco > Switch > Deco (Slave 1) , etc.
But the problem I noticed is: When I connect the switch, my internet from the main deco is limited to 100 MB/s, and when I remove it, it goes back to 1 GB/s.

@TP-Link I am currently trying to pair 2 X50 Deco's together via Ethernet back haul.
I am able to set the initial one up against my Sky modem/router on a wired basis and achieve great results.
I have additionally set up a second X50 on the network wirelessly to start off with. Also great results.
I have then been to the other end of the property (approx 30 meters) and connected the Deco's to a CAT6A cable (Armored/shielded) that runs through the property. It appears that the Decos prefer to communicate wirelessly over a very weak signal, rather than deploying the Ethernet back haul as they are supposed to once paired and then connected via cable.
I have used two other cables to ensure no issues with the wired infrastructure. Neither of these have been fruitful:
- U/UTP SE Stranded Patch cable (25 meter)
- CAT 5E cable (2 meter)
I noticed the IPTV feature was not enabled by default, I have in turn enabled this also with the following settings:
- Bridge Profile
- Port 2 from main deco
- Port 1 to satellite deco (Then changed to port 2, also not fruitful)
Would love some additional suggestions as to what I should try next to get this up and running.

@Robughblah - thanks for this, having re-read this point in the documentation (which isn't necessarily worded in the best grammatical style) I realise the guidance is ideally not to have this feature enabled, rather than enabling it and connecting the cable via ports which were not listed in the IPTV config.
since disabling the feature, backhaul works well.
