Sorry to hear about the trouble and I will try my best to help, if the kasa device failed to update the firmware, you could try some tips here
please try to wait unitil the firmware update is done in the kasa app first, if that does not help
1. Connect your phone to Home Wi-Fi network and try update
2. Try to connect phone to a different network like LTE mobile data or a non-local network like office wifi etc.
3.Reboot the smart device and try firmware update again
For smart switch, press the ' RESTART' button on the right bottom for one sec
If still the same, may I know the MAC address of your smart device and its current firmware & hardware version, please share a photo showing the firmware update failed/ stuck, thank you!
