Solution Wi-Fi Range Extender Causing Host Router No Internet

This Article Applied to
TL-WA850RE_V7;TL-WA855RE_V5
Issue Description
After setting up the extenders, users might notice that any device (laptop/desktop computer/mobile phone) trying to connect to the original router network is unable to connect. Over WiFi it says 'Connected, no internet' and for Ethernet connections, it seems to show it as an 'Unidentified Network'. Connecting these devices to the extender works fine. After switching off the extender, all the devices immediately work fine on the host network.

I'm having the exact same problem that started some months ago, my TV keeps disconnecting, my phone I think the only that survives is my PC connected via Ethernet cable into the Tp link extender, and when I check the Extender Admin page it really drops the connection to the main router..
My extender is
TL-WA850RE V3 Firmware: 1.0.0 Build 20180314 Rel. 85916(6985)
I know it's old but I really don't want to throw into the bin yet..
Is any firmware compatible with this?
Thank you for helping.
