According to "Q22: Does Tapo Cam monitor 24/7?", Tapo Cam monitors 24/7/365 and apparently the Tapo App does not offer any function to schedule the monitoring time. The only way to stop the monitoring function (for instance when it is not necessary in some recurrent parts of the days, in order to save the battery power) seems to be powering on the Privacy Mode, but again with no time sheduling functions. Is it correct?

If so, do you envisage to update the Tapo App, by introducing a Monitor Scheduling Function in the future?

Hi,
This Q22 is to introduce that most of our Tapo camera models support the 24-hour recording function. If you want to stop the monitoring feature, you can turn on the Privacy Mode of the camera.

There is no Schedule feature to turn on/off the Pirvacy Mode, however, you can add an Automation entry to turn on or off the Privacy Mode at a specific time. Below is the instruction to add an Automation entry.
