This Article Applies to:

All Omada routers.

Background:

You may notice that there is VLAN 4094, 4093, or an unknown VLAN number and unknown routing tables like 169.254.X.Y.

Reasons:

If you see auto-generated VLANs like 4094 and 4093, and it is defaulted to WAN, please do not worry. This is the system-generated VLAN for the WAN connection. This number counts down when you have multiple WANs.

If you see a routing table like 169.254.11.22 (or 169.254.11.21) which is an invalid IP and reserved IP address for the LAN-WAN data. Especially, when you have multiple VLAN interfaces, it is used for LAN-WAN communication.
