Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

I set up the main m5 connected to my ISP modem/router and it works fine with my local network. I want to connect my second router flashed with vpn firmware to the deco and have a second vpn network. I tried plugging an ethernet cable from the lan port in the vpn router to the second ethernet port in the main m5. I don't see that network. Please forgive my ignorance -- not too computer savvy yet.

Hi, welcome to the community.

Did you set this second VPN router as the VPN server and wish to connect to this VPN server from the remote devices?

If yes, the VPN server is under the NAT protection of Deco M5 now, you might try to open ports for this VPN router:

How to set up Port Forwarding feature on the Deco

Thank you very much and best regards.
