using the deco app causing deco to disconnect and restart

As per the subject, when using the deco, my unit disconnects then restarts. This can be caused by refreshing the deco list panel, viewing, or editing the deco's connection preference on the app

@JurgenM Hi, Are you still running 1.6.4 or 1.6.7? It seems that 1.6.4 is not available anymore. And how is the deco app behaving, with clients list causing Decos to reboot and all? Are you still stable?
@David-TP my Decos are still rebooting if I am opening the deco app and use it for a couple of minutes. Unacceptable. What is TP links official stand in installing firmware when 1.6.7 become available? because when updating firmware the app will crash and possibly brick router.

@RobertAN Just wanted to chime in and say I'm experiencing the same issue on my mom's deco x60 system. I use a pixel 9 pro xl with the latest version (3.9.42) and it happens pretty much immediately when opening the app and going into the device list. But on my mom's iPhone it works perfectly fine without crashes.

@David-TP after installing 1.6.7 firmware for Deco X50/55 v.1 EU all my problems are over. Running smooth for 3 weeks now.
One issue remains that is that TP-Link TAPO bulb or plugs are being showed offline after a reboot of the decos. They are not offline; but the deco app shows them offline.
When I power the bulb/plug down, wait 10 seconds, and power them back on, they are shown online again in the app. This is ONLY an issue with the TAPO bulbs or plugs.

@RobertAN Adding my name to the list. I have the XE75 Pro 3 device mesh. When I go into the app (perhaps to look at the device list), the system reboots.
Android App Version: 3.9.56
Mesh Device Firmware: 1.2.14 Build 20241223 Rel. 16551

I'm experiencing the same issue with my Deco X55 setup. It's acting as the main router in my home, with the ISP's ONT in bridge mode — so all routing is handled by the X55. I also have two additional units on the upper floor and an X50-Outdoor for the terrace.
The problem consistently appears when I don’t open the Deco app for a day or two. Whenever I try to check connected clients or add a reserved IP for a device, the whole system crashes and restarts. This happens across all phones in the house, not just my iPhone.
There’s noticeable packet loss, and I’ve even set up a scheduled restart at 5 AM every morning because the router struggles to maintain a stable 1Gbps connection from the provider. Occasionally, I need to restart it manually(I just did it before makeing this post) because it fails to properly negotiate the full bandwidth with the ONT.
CPU and memory usage are constantly high, even though I only have around 25–30 devices connected — mostly phones and IoT devices. I’m running the latest firmware and have already tried a full reset, but nothing has improved. It’s becoming a serious issue since both my wife and I work from home, and reliability is crucial.
For a product that costs around €300, these problems after just one year of use are unacceptable. And let’s not even get started on the poor client identification and the lack of a proper web interface. Relying solely on a buggy mobile app for management is incredibly frustrating.
TP-Link, this needs serious attention.

CPU usage doesnt update in the app so it only shows the value from the moment you opened the tab in the mobile app.
One thing if for sure tp-link uses the same os/software for a lot of devices, since all models have the same ****** bugs.

Hi, welcome to the community.
Could you please refer to this link to help me submit the Deco App log:
Both Deco App and the software of Deco X55 have been updated. The reported issue here is not supposed to happen again.
I'd like to follow up on your case via email and ask the senior engineer for further assistance.
By the way, Can I also have some screenshots of your current network map, such as:
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.
