Not receiving notification on VIGI App since latest app upgrade

I'm experiencing an issue with the VIGI phone application after updating to the latest version released on 04/06/2025. Since the update, I have not been receiving any alert notifications through the app. It appears this may be a bug introduced in the latest release.
I have restarted my Cameras and reinstalled the app but its an app issue.
I do see the events being logged under the camera but the notification is empty.
Please find attached screenshots as evidence of the issue.

- 5th June 2025- no events shows - i rebooted my ipc and they were logged and received the notification for it but no other event
- Camera 1 - multiple events recorded on 5th June.

I am experiencing the same. I think in general, the app became too slow. Notifications are loaded right away which do take a while. Viewing a camera will also load the timeline first which is blocking the loading of the live video. There are a couple of architectural improvements that can be done with the app.
Right now, I prefer the webview but I lack the notifications which I really need.

Is this issue resolved on your end?
What model is your IPC? Is it a camera from VIGI? Model and firmware version are required.
Do you use VMS? Omada Guard? Or you only bind the NVR to the VIGI account.

What is your network environment like when the notifications and app load slowly? In the same LAN or while you are away from the local network where NVR resides?
What device do you use for the VIGI app? What OS version is it?
What VIGI app version do you have?

Hello I had news from Tp Link support and at my situation it’s worked , I will writes it as the support send it to me go to nitification page, disable event notification, then enable it again. Go to notification > management page, disable all device notification, then enable all notification again, the issue can be fixed.
Is your case resolved now? Or do you still experience the same situation?

no it isn't!
working only with human recognizing, but not with movement activated only. I tried deactivate and activate as well.
nvr as seen, ipc c540v (current fw)
connected via swtich to the nvr (vigi account)

I could use more details. Exact C540V firmware version.
VIGI account, do you refer to the regular VMS personal? What would be the platform you use for this NVR?
Do you manage it from the computer? What does the settings look like from the PC end?
If you have never managed it from the PC end, what does it look like in VIGI app for the settings of the motion detection as you described the movement(motion) detection doesn't work?

It did start working for me for a while and suddenly it just stopped today again. I can see it Alerts coming into the app and event manager but no push notification.
Seems like some bug with the event manager that just does stop working.
Its really frustating on this and no support from TPLINK SUPPORT.
I dont use any NVR just the app and the cloud portal.

Based on what you described, it seems to be a network issue with your environment. There is no known server downtime, to the best of our knowledge.
As far as I know, on my test bench, the server location is Europe. With the IPC and NVR, the notification works perfectly while I am on another continent. I received a notification of person detection a few hours ago. iOS system.
