Model: Archer AX1500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.11

Hello,

I have an existing TP Link router archer AX 1500 and i am trying to extend the range which would give me full wifi speeds in the dead zones of my house. I am getting a little confused about what would be the ideal solution for it. Should i get another TP Link router that supports Easy Mesh mode or should i get one of the TP Link Decos like the Deco X50 AX 3000. I am also looking for a dedicated VPN compatibility which i think my current does not support.

I am open to any suggestions!

Thank you!

Hi @Red8003,

Welcome to our community.

From the information you provided, your Archer AX1500 should already support the Easymesh function.

In this case, it is recommended that you prioritize buying a router that supports both VPN functionality and Easymesh. Archer AX73 is a good choice.

You can also check which routers support VPN and which routers are compatible with Easymesh, and then choose accordingly based on your needs.
