Wi-Fi Network Causing Bluetooth Issues Housewide
Hello Everyone,
Reaching out because I recently purchased a TP-Link Deco XE75 Pro V2 3-PACK and have similar issues to this forum post: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/732534
However, my network is stable, but the network seems to be interfering with all Bluetooth devices within the house. I know this isn't an unknown issue with Wi-Fi and bluetooth, but I've never experienced Bluetooth interference this bad. Headphones are cutting out and PlayStation controllers are lagging. I've tried across multiple devices & different sets of headphones/controllers and the Bluetooth issues are house-wide. The closer to any of the nodes I get, the worst the interference gets. The network itself is functioning as expected, but it seems to be preventing me from using any Bluetooth items effectively. I tried running the network as 5GHz only, but this didn't solve the issue.
I tried moving the main Deco further away, but the area where the Bluetooth is interfered with is about 75% of the house, which never happened with my previous modem/router. I've also tried rebooting the network with 5GHz only, but I've still noticed 2.4GHz coming up for one of the connections between the main router and a node.
I looked up fixes for this, and most advice I can find recommends setting the 2.4GHz network to 20MHz only. However, I don't seem to have the option of doing this with the XE75 Pro.
Is this a known issue with any fix? I'm currently using the Deco as a Wi-Fi router, will changing to an access point configuration help solve this? Or are there any other settings I can adjust to fix this issue? I saw a mention of a beta firmware that might address this problem, so I want to try to fix it before I go through the process of returning the devices.
Cheers in advance!
