DECO XE75 pro unusable 2.4 Ghz network
Thursday
Model: Deco XE75 Pro
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.2.11

I have a network composed by 3 deco xe75 pro and one deco x50. My 2.4 Ghz network is unusable (packet drops, high latency, continuous disconnection of IoT devices).

I've done a scan of wifi and found that deco often chooses a channel used by other networks, and channel width is always 40 Mhz. The only way I have to reduce interference is to reduce channel width to 20 Mhz, but I can't do dat with the app. Can you help me?

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

May I confirm some information to understand your situation better?

1. Do you usually only use 2.4GHz network with 5Ghz off for the main network?

2.Does the unstable connection on 2.4GHz influence all client devices connected to all Decos? Or only some devices connected to certain Deco?

To assist and figure it out efficiently, we recommend submitting a support ticket via email. Please include your Forum ID, community nickname, a detailed description of the issue, and the troubleshooting steps you’ve taken in the subject line or body of your email. Thank you.

I use both 2.4 and 5 GHz networks. Disconnections happen manly to IoT devices connected to main deck. (Daikin air conditioners, Bosh dishwasher). Also ikea zigbee network is badly influenced with frequent lamp and sensor disconnections.

@Marvin_S any updates as to when there will be a firmware version that would support changing the channel width for the 2.4Ghz band? I have 6 Nest Outdoor cameras that would benefit being on the 2.4Ghz band, but it is severely unstable (constantly drop out or stay offline). I have them on the 5Ghz band and they behave normal with a brief disconnect every few days or so.
