Broken admin page after latest update
Broken admin page after latest update

Hi there,
I recently purchased a TP-LINK Router Archer AX53, really powerful router from all those that i got until now.
I noticed a small bug after updating the firmware to the latest version, as shown on this screenshot :
This happened to me after the latest firmware update, but this occurs only on chromium based browsers and not Firefox for example (Librewolf browser) according to my experience. I don't understand why but perhaps there is a bug on the latest firmware version (1.5.1 Build 20250721 rel.87654(4555)) that prevent correct css/js rendering on chromium based browsers.
How to fix it please? nothing harmful but i'd like to keep accessing my router through Brave browser. Thanks.
Best regards.

Hi,
TP-Link is apparently already working on a firmware update that will resolve this issue. For the time being you can use this workaround https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/837652 .

Hello @buster95 @Ad47uk @pap4pap @SiSPX @MarianPL
I'm happy to inform you that the official version for Archer AX53(EU) V1 has been released publicly. You can check for updates via the router's web interface or through the Tether App to install the latest version manually.
Check my updates in the following thread:
Web Interface Menus of Archer AX53 Become Invisible After Upgrading Router Firmware
Thank you all for your feedback and patience.

@ChrisRed29 dammm with the last update this is how the admin page looks like, apparently they wanted to add dark mode or something like that

@ChrisRed29 I fix the problem while they launch an update to fix it, using overrides in the browser

I am glad it is just not me then, I have the V1 hardware version of the router and I thought maybe TP-link have made a mistake.
The router is great, and I am glad to see TP-link still providing updates for the first version.
I registered here to ask the same question as you.

Hi,
I totally agree with you that the router is amazing and the most performant one compared to all the routers that i got until now.
We are waiting for an upcoming firmware update to solve this issue.

If you'd like to save yourself a few mouse clicks and a little time, then consider using a separate browser just for the router's webpage. Google Chrome Beta, for example, can be installed alongside the regular Chrome browser and starts up very quickly (about 2 to 3 seconds on my computer).
I've been watching this forum for some years already and there has never been a date given for a firmware update. It could be out tomorrow, or it could be out in a few months.

I have the same issue; I temporarily modified the background CSS code to gray. It's not great, and I am still waiting for the firmware update.

@woozle Yeah I have a working "solution"
I think its pretty poor to be honest, Not everyone is gonna be tech savvy enough to be able to sort this solution.
