Hi,

I have a couple of C100 camera which work great!

I've found that I can view the camera on my Google Chromecast by saying 'View Living Room Camera' - and it pops up on TV - and works really well.

But if I go the Google Home panel, where the camera is listed under favorites, when I click on it I get 'Additional actions are not supported on TV' error.

Its strange that I can view the camera by voice command, but cant access it from Favorites.

I'm keen to get it working from the Favorites if possible, or add a shortcut somewhere, as my family won't use the voice commands.

Is there a setting somewhere perhaps?

Thanks!

Hi,
Typically, you can stream the Tapo camera's live feed on Chromecast; however, it's unable to do other operations (such as zoom, pan, or tilt the camera) on the Chromecast to the camera, which may be the reason why you get the 'Additional actions are not supported on TV' prompt.

If you want to stream the camera by adding a shortcut or automation entry on the Google Home app rather than using a voice command, it's recommended to contact Google support for further assistance.

Best Regards
