Model: Tapo C210  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.1

Note: I'm not sure what hardware version I have.

 

After turning on the camera for the first time, connecting it to the internet etc. it asked me to initialize and to format the SD card. Once I tried it from within the camera settings as supposed - it says that it couldn't format it. Then, following the manual, I tried to format it with my pc (with unchecked fast format option). Tried again - same issue. Tried with a different SD card - same issue. Tried re-connecting the camera (deleting from the app and adding camera) - still the same issue.

 

Please help

Hi,
You can refer to the following instructions to troubleshoot if you fail to format the SD card.
What should I do if the SD card cannot be formatted/recognized?
 

If the same phenomenon persists, please confirm the following information.
  1. On the Tapo app > camera's Device Settings > Device Info page, please check the camera's hardware version. Then, please tap the Wi-Fi icon and check the RSSI value.
  2. What are the model number and capacity of the SD card inserted into the camera?
  3. What's the model number and OS version of your phone? What's the Tapo app version?
  4. Please list the test results of the above instructions.
