2.4GHz Band turns on & off randomly | Archer AX10 (V3)
Device: ArcherAX10
Hardware Version: V3.8
Firmware: 1.2.2 Build 20250812 rel.75732
Yesterday, I upgraded my satellite router (hard-wired) to the mentioned firmware version. After this update, I noticed that a few of my IoT devices (Tuya/ Smart Life WiFi Bulbs & even other smart devices from Tapo) would connect intially for a short period of time and later disconnect after some time, not being able to connect again.
Upon checking, I noticed that the 2.4GHz band keeps turning off and on randomly.
Unfortunately, since the router causing this issue is setup in a OneMesh network as a satellite router, the web UI is blocked, and hence I can't downgrade the firmware without resetting the router, downgrading and setting up everything again.
If anyone has a workaround for this, kindly help.

Hello @uncool_dude ,
Thanks for your reply.
Please reset the satellite AX10 V3. Then, downgrade the firmware back to the Archer AX10(EU)_V3_1.2.1 Build 20250724 for comparison.
After the update, please reset it and set it back to the satellite node.

Hello @uncool_dude ,
Welcome to our community.
What is the model of your main router? Please tell me if your network topology diagram is as follows: ISP—Main router—AX10 )))((( client devices
(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )
After the firmware update, does the 5GHz connection stay stable?
What if you remove the Archer AX10? Can you access the 2.4GHz stably?

@Joseph-TP
Hi there!
My setup is:
Main Router (Archer AX10 V2) + Satellite Router (Archer AX10 V3; connected via Ethernet) + Extender (RE505X; connected wirelessly)
The issue is the 2.4GHz band randomly turning off when Smart Connect is enabled. I can access the 2.4GHz band reliably when I turn off 5GHz band completely, but that limits speed for most of my devices (though IoTs start working perfectly; and this seems to be a workaround for now).
If I remove the satellite router, everything seems to be working normally, even with Smart Connect & 5GHz band enabled.
Also, it is worth noting that earlier, when I upgraded my main router (Archer AX10 V2) to the latest firmware available as of now (1.3.12 Build 20250828 Rel. 26873(5553)), I started facing similar kind of issues, but it would happen with almost all devices, not just IoTs. Ultimately, I had to downgrade to the previous firmware (which was easy in that case, as it was the main router).

Hi @uncool_dude ,
Thanks for getting back to me.
So the firmware version of your main router is 1.3.11 now, right?
For comparison, would you mind disabling EasyMesh and then enabling Smart Connect again to test whether the 2.4GHz connection is stable? Please test it on both routers separately.

Main router is on 1.3.10 as of now.
For main router, enabling Smart Connect without EasyMesh causes no issues.
For the AX10 V3, I tested for a brief period of time and had no issues, but I doubt if my observation is correct, since reproducing the issue is not in my control- the router does it randomly.
