Persistently Losing Network & Parental Controls
Hi. I have 3 x Deco X50 units in my house. The main Deco is connected via ethernet to the modem and incoming fibre broadband with the other 2 Decos creating a network around the house as normal. Periodically if the fibre broadband drops out (particularly during winter, storms etc, this can happen every few weeks), the network is lost to all devices in our home. That's normal and once the router is rebooted the network often returns to normal. However, sometimes it doesn't return automatically and I often need to reset the main Deco too and in doing so, the network and all of its parental controls are lost each time. I need to set the whole network back up again, along with all of my kids profiles on Parental Controls, rename all of their devices, all of the bedtime routines etc etc. This is very frustrating as it can take a couple of hours each time to go through all of this to identify all the kids devices etc. Is this normal? Or is there a way to prevent the network disappearing any time the broadband drops out?
The parental controls subscription is excellent when it works but incredibly frustrating when the network is deleted and I need to reconfigure the whole thing each time.
Thanks
